Bearbeitet Chemistry

Beitrag von Sneha Ghosh »

Dear Sir/Ma'am,
My name is Sneha Ghosh and I am from India. I have completed my postgraduation in Chemistry from India in 2019. But due to the Pandemic I could not gather sufficient research exposure to myself, hence, I wish to enroll again for Masters in Chemistry at your University for the upcoming Winter semester.
Could you please let me know that whether I am eligible to apply and regarding the Language proficiency proof, what do I need to submit? I donot speak German but have good knowledge of English. My entire academic career has been in English Language for which I have a proof of English proficiency and that is, in my Masters semester marksheet it is clearly mentioned that the medium of instruction is English. So, can it serve as a proof of English Language proficiency?
I have attached the marksheet for your reference.
Hope to hear from you soon so that I can proceed further with my application.
Thank You.
Yours Sincerely,
Sneha Ghosh.

Dear Sneha Ghosh,

The master's program Chemistry at Uni Hamburg is taught in German and English language. Applicants have to submit proof of sufficient language skills at time of application (English) and at time of enrollment (German). Since you have completed a bachelor's degree in English language, and this is also evident from your degree certificates, too, this proof of sufficient English language skills will be sufficient.

Information about the required German language proficiency is available at https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campusce ... nisse.html

Application for M.Sc. Chemistry: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/onTEAM/studi ... chemie.pdf (version for ss 2022)

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

Thank you for your reply. The document attached above that explicitly proves my English language proficiency is the previously achieved M.Sc. semester marksheet and not of my Bachelors degree. So, can I submit it as a proof of English proficiency skill?

Yours sincerely,
Sneha Ghosh.
