Transfer from another university

I attend the first year of the degree course in psychology in English at the "Cattolica del Sacro Cuore" university in Milan (Italy). Next year (September) I would like to continue my studies in Germany. So I would like to know if I can enroll at your university to attend the degree course in psychology starting from the third semester.
Will the exams taken in Italy be recognised? Do I need language certifications? How can I proceed to transfer to your university and when should I do it?

Dear Laura,

You may only apply to a higher subject semester if places are available in your chosen degree program for the semester for which you would like to apply. For the degree program B.Sc Psychology there are no places available at Uni Hamburg.

Since you have studied abroad, you can apply for the first semester in the program at Uni Hamburg and your comparable study achievements could be recognized after successful enrollment.

Next to very good German language proficiency all applicants have to submit proof of English language skills, too.
