Dear gaurikac,
1) "I am interested in applying for the Deutschlandstipendium."
Please read our website about the "Deutschlandstipendium" and the application process for this scholarship:
https://www.uni-hamburg.de/deutschlandstipendium.html. If you have any further questions after reading, please use the contact information on the website.
2) Please note that applying to study at Universität Hamburg and applying for this scholarship (the "Deutschlandstipendium") are two separate processes.
Of course, you can read about the Deutschlandstipendium now, but you can only apply for the Deutschlandstipendium if you have successfully applied for a degree program at Universität Hamburg and have been admitted (see
https://www.uni-hamburg.de/deutschlands ... erber.html).
3) I would advise you to read our website for international applicants again, where you will find all the relevant information for an application (application deadlines, admission requirements, selection criteria, proof of German language skills, recognition of foreign educational qualifications as university entrance qualifications, practical steps in the application process, etc.):
https://www.uni-hamburg.de/campuscenter ... ernational.
4) "I am unable to do the same through uni-assist."
Universität Hamburg is not a member of uni-assist, so uni-assist is not relevant to an application at Universität Hamburg.
We have our own procedure for recognizing foreign qualifications as
higher education entrance eligibility. The relevant information can be found on the following website:
https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... hulbildung.
Please note that this process of recognition of a foreign education qualification as
higher education entrance eligibility is in the most cases only relevant if you want to apply for a Bachelor's program and therefore need your foreign qualification to be recognized as higher education entrance eligibility.
If you intend to apply for a Master's program, you usually do not need to apply for recognition of your previous education in this process, as a higher education entrance eligibility because this is the admission requirement for a Bachelor's program.
The rules for applying to a Master's program with a foreign bachelor's degree differ from Master's program to Master's program, as do all the rules for the application process.
It is important to understand that the selection decision for all Master's degree programm at Universität Hamburg is made by the respective selection committee of the department or faculty, which examines the applications and the submitted application documents with regard to the admission requirements and selection criteria.
If you have specific questions about your rejection or your application documents, please contact the team or person responsible for the relevant Master's program directly.
The contact details can be found on the last page of the programme-specific application information:
www.uni-hamburg.de/list-master.
Best wishes
Thomas Walter
