M.D. application inquiry

Hi, I am Jeff.

I am a medical student (Master's student) from a non-EU country and now I am applying for an individual doctoral position (M.D.) in the Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, and now I have received an invitation letter from a professor. I wonder if I should also apply in the online system (which will open from 1 December to 15 January). Do I need to validate my medical degree during application procedure?

Besides, I will get my Master's degree and dilploma towards the end of January, which may exceed the deadline of online application. Can I use a certification to prove my studying status in graduate program?

Hello Jeff,

you do not need to care about the online system STiNE at this point in the process.

The first step is to receive your admission. This step is only between you and the faculty. What documents you need for admission is up to the facultie's regulations.

After you received your admission, the second step is to apply for enrollment via STiNE. The application can be done at any time, since the deadlines aren't valid for doctoral studies.
