I hope this email finds you well. I am a Chinese student planning to apply for Master's Degree Programme Innovation, Business and Sustainability. I am in the process of preparing the necessary documents for my application and have a question regarding the "Recognition of foreign educational qualifications" item.
As is stated on your official website https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... hulbildung, an APS certificate could be used as a Recognition of foreign educational qualification. But it also states "Important: Endorsements of recognition marked with an asterisk (*) (that includes APS certificates) usually do not provide a converted grade and/or date of graduation. In selection procedures, these endorsements will be assigned a grade of 9,9 (i.e., consideration without a waiting period). That means that applications without a grade or date of graduation will rank behind the last applicant who provided a grade or date. If you do not wish to be considered without a grade, you may apply for recognition in order to have your grades transferred to the German system."
My question is—— my APS certificate has converted my grades（from the first three years of my four-year university program) into the German grading system. In this case, will my grades be recognized by the University of Hamburg, and therefore won't be "ranked behind the last applicant who provided a grade or date"?
