Recognition of Foreign Qualifications

Hello,

I would like to apply for the International Master’s program (MIBAS) from outside Germany. For the recognition process of my documents, I clicked on the "Request" button under the "Recognition of Foreign Qualifications" section in the STINE portal. However, the system gets stuck at the step where I need to select a recognition procedure—it does not allow me to choose just one procedure and selects all of them instead.

I encountered the same issue when I checked before February 15.Can’t we use this part of the portal between February 15 and March 31?

Additionally, I had my high school diploma evaluated as a VPD through Uni-Assist. Can I use that? Although I do not have my university diploma yet, my current GPA is listed on my transcript, and there is a note stating that I will graduate in June 2025.

I would appreciate it if you could provide me with information.

We are having technical issues with the tool that we are working on. We will inform you on the following website as soon as the English version is working again: www.uni-hamburg.de/assist

Your VPD by uni assist is also valid and can be used for your application.

I submitted my certificates along with my transcripts for recognition 10 days ago, and I see that the status is currently marked as "accepted" on the application portal. I would like to inquire about the next steps in the process.

Could you please let me know when I can expect the results? Additionally, will I receive an email notification regarding the acceptance or rejection of my certificates, or should I continue checking the application portal for updates? I would appreciate any clarification on how I will be notified of the final decision.

Furthermore, I understand that I can still complete my application even if the recognition of my foreign certificates has not been finalized by the application deadline. Could you please confirm if this is correct?
