Dear Sir/Madam,
We would be grateful if you could accept our documents to check them in “preliminary documents” procedure.
We have not sent the documents by the 15 of February because of the fact that our university could not provide us with them for the external reasons. The university may only issue certificates after examination periods and this procedure takes time of 3 weeks.
We would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter. Thank you for your consideration.
Regards,
Dzhonona Kholikova and Alina Mysakova,
Students of Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation
Dear Ms Kholikova and Ms Mysakova,
Universität Hamburg does not check your documents to issue a "preliminary documentation" - this is done by uni-assist e. V. (University Application Service for International Students). So we cannot accept your documents to provide you with the preliminary documentation, you have to send them directly to uni-assist. Information about which documents to sent to uni-assist is provided here: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/assist If you want to apply for the MIBAS program you should send your documents to uni-assist immediately, since you need the preliminary documentation to apply to Universität Hamburg until March,31st and it takes uni-assist about 4 weeks to issue it. After you receive it, you have to send it to Universität Hamburg along with your other application documents. Detailed information about how to apply for the MIBAS program is provided here: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/onTEAM/studi ... /mibas.pdf

Dear Ms Schelling,
Thank you for your irrefragable answer.
I am sending my certificates to Uni-assist today (7 March), as a result I don't meet the deadline. Is there any possibility that my documents would be considered for the admission purpose? If it is necessary, I will write an official application-request addressed to the dean.
Thank you for your consideration.

Dear Ms Kholikova,
If you send your documents to uni-assist today, there is a chance that you will get a preliminary documentation in time to apply, but this is not certain. Please note that in case that you didn't receive your final bachelor degree in time for sending it to uni-assist, there would have been the possibility to send a current transcript of records including your GPA to uni-assist to get an evaluation of your transcript which would have sufficed for the application. (https://www.wiso.uni-hamburg.de/studien ... ml#3901942) If your documents are not complete by the application deadline your application unfortunately cannot be considered. I fear that an application request sent to the dean will not change that, but you are of course free to send one.

Birte Schelling
