Dear Sir/ Madam,

I`m going to apply for MIBAS program. As an applicant with a non-EU degre.
So, first of all, my documents have to be checked in a "preliminary documentation" procedure (VPD) by uni-assist.
I have a Bachelor degree in Management.

It seems that to apply via Uni-assis I have to submit only
bachelor's diploma and the final transcript of records.
As I understood, applying for a master degree higher education entrance qualification is not required?


Secondly, I have to apply in the STiNE online application form. I have to upload all required application documents. Do I have upload my documents as certified translations or as certified copies of translations?

For MIBAS, you have to upload your academic documents; i.e. your full set of degree documents for all university degrees you have, such as: transcripts of records, degree certificates, diplomas, diploma supplements, explanation of grading system, etc.. All documents have to be in English or German language or have to be translated to one of those. The higher education entrance qualification is not required. Please note: In addition to uploading your documents online, you need to send certified copies of the documents to uni-assist e.V. via postal mail.

When applying through STiNE at Uni Hamburg you have to upload simple copies of certified translation.

I also wonder, what are special requirements for the CV to apply for the MIBAS program? I mean the length in pages and text size, for example. Should I attach a photo to my CV?

Applicants do not have to send any hard copies of documents (diplomas, degree certificates, transcripts, etc.) to Universität Hamburg for the application.

So, do I have to send any documents either the application form via regular (postal) mail?

When applying for the master's program MIBAS (or Economics, or PEP) you do not have to send any hard copies of documents to Universität Hamburg. You fill out the online application, upload the required documents and send the application electronically within the application period. It is an online application only.

According to the application information for MIBAS, the CV should be written in English language. There are not given any requirements in terms of pages numbers, text size or foto, it is up to the applicants.
