I am an international student enrolled as a Master student in Mathematical Physics. I have not managed to acquire accommodation in Hamburg yet. I have been told by the Mathematics department that for the next few weeks I can stay in my home country and study from there and that they will provide me with lecture notes, exercises, etc.
I have obtained my provisional documents and have paid my semester contribution. But I do not have a permanent address in Germany yet so cannot get my full documents for the semester. The provisional ones expire on October 31 and I do not think I will have accommodation by this time and will not be in Hamburg until perhaps the end of November.
Is it possible to just add a German address when I get accommodation and then collect the full documents? Or do I need a German address before the end of the month or I will not be accepted into the university?
Kind regards,
Paul
