Hello,
My name is Luciana Puebla Renteria and I am a PhD student at WiSo Fakultät. I have already been accepted by the WiSo Graduate School and I recently submitted my application to registry as a student and pay my semester fees (around three weeks ago). However, I completely forgot that I already had a StiNE account with my bax1234 user name and created a new user and sent my application from that account. I am now trying to access to that account to see if there is a change in my status but I cannot. Please let me know how to proceed, this is very confusing. Am I supposed to wait for an email with the confirmation of acceptance and the instructions to pay the semester fees?

Dear Ms. Puebla Renteria,

If you have submitted an application for enrollment as a PhD student and you cannot access your STiNE account at the moment, you are probably already enrolled. During the enrollment process, the applicant account in STiNE will be converted to a student account with new login details.

If you have withdrawn at least 1 semester between your previous and new studies at the University of Hamburg, which I assume is the case, you will receive new provisional semester documents.

With your provisional semester documents (public transport pass, student card) you will also receive your new STiNE login data for the student account. You will find the payment form for the semester contribution under Studying -> Documents.

Thank you very much for your answer. The issue is that I have never been a student at the University of Hamburg (I did my masters somewhere else) and I do not have a matriculation number, therefore I cannot pay the semester fees...

Dear Ms. Puebla Renteria,

You will find all information about the payment of the semester contribution and your enrollment number ("Matrikelnummer") in your provisional semester documents. Therefore, you will be able to pay the semester contribution, once you have received you provisional semester documents.
