I have completed university studies in China as Teaching Chinese to Speakers of other Languages major in China, but I want to change my major to apply for a Bachelor of Economic Informatics in Germany.
I want to ask two questions:
(1)The language test was postponed or cancelled due to the coronavirus. I cannot obtain a language score certificate before the application deadline. Will the University of Hamburg send me a conditional admission notice?
(2)Are there any other special requirements if I apply for economic informatics? Such as internships, entrance exams, etc.
Looking forward to your reply
zhengxin
Dear zhengxin,
You do not need a german language certificate for the application. The proof of german language proficiency can be handed in until November 1: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... isse.html
There are no special admission requirements for the program Wirtschaftsinformatik. But to apply at Universität Hamburg as an international applicant, you need to have your documents checked in a "preliminary documentation" procedure by uni-assist e. V. (University Application Service for International Students). uni-assist determines whether your previous educational qualifications permit you to start studying in your program of choice in Germany. Detailed information about this procedure is provided here: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... dung.html
