Dear Ttusha,

You can apply for a bachelor degree at Universität Hamburg if you already have obtained a bachelor degree in your home country. Universität Hamburg does not offer any bachelor program specifically in finance, but there is a bachelor program in "Betriebswirtschaftslehre" (business administration). In this program you can specialize in finance and insurance after the second year. You can find further information about that program here: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/campuscenter ... 1027509612 I am sorry that this information is not available in English – the reason for this is that this program is taught in German and therefore requires German language proficiency. You can find further information about the German language requirements for the program in English here: http://www.uni-hamburg.de/campuscenter/ ... sse_e.html

To apply to Universität Hamburg as an international applicant, you need to have your documents checked in a "preliminary documentation" procedure by uni-assist e. V. (University Application Service for International Students). uni-assist determines whether your previous educational qualifications permit you to start studying in your program of choice in Germany. Detailed information about this procedure is provided here: http://www.uni-hamburg.de/campuscenter/ ... ung_e.html

Universität Hamburg does not currently offer any preparatory German courses. If you would like to improve your German language skills before you apply, the WISY portal is a helpful resource: http://deutsch.kursportal.info/g193 This lists German language courses in Hamburg by provider. Costs vary from provider to provider. You can often take a German language course in your own country, perhaps at a TestDaF center or Goethe Institute, in order to prepare for mandatory language tests.
