Hello!!!
My question is whether I can submit my VPD after the close of the winter application season. I am applying to the MIBAS program, the application period closes on the 31st of March, and I fear that I’ll not get my documents evaluated in time before the application season closes.

Can I start my application for the MIBAS program now but apply to get my documents evaluated by uni-assist and upload them on or before after the application season closes on the 31st of march, this is because uni-assist stated on their website that it takes 4-6weeks for them to evaluate documentsIf that.

Also, from my research the website states that if I can't get my VPD before the deadline i can convert it myself using the bavarian formula or through using a link to convert my grades. However, at the end it says this tip isn't for masters application. what other means can I use to convert my grades incase as it is extremely likely that I'll not get my VPD before the close of application season.

Please submit your application to Universität Hamburg by March 31 via the online application portal STiNE (https://www.stine.uni-hamburg.de), even if you have not received your preliminary review documentation (VPD) from uni-assist yet. You then need to upload all other documents required for your application (please check https://www.wiso.uni-hamburg.de/mibas for details).

Available evaluation results will be transferred from uni-assist directly to Universität Hamburg after the application deadline. Please note that applications without uni-assist evaluation results / VPD cannot be considered.

You don't have to convert your GPA to the German grading system. When filling the STiNE application form, please enter 9.9 in the respective entry field. For the MIBAS selection procedure, we double check all information and we consider the GPA converted by uni-assist only.
