Dear Sir/Madam,
I am posting this topic to ask a question about applying for the MSc Mathematical Physics program of the University of Hamburg. I have already received and accepted an offer of MSc Physics program from the physics department of the University of Hamburg. In this case, am I still allowed to have a try applying for the MSc Mathematical Physics program? I will only choose one program in the end.
Best wishes,
Tangdi Luan
Dear Tangdi Luan,
You can only apply for one of those programs at a time. If you want to apply for Mathematical Physics now you would have to withdraw your application for Physics and forfeit your place in that program. That is possible, but if your application for Mathematical Physics is not accepted then, you cannot get your place in Physics back. So you will have to decide now. If you decide to apply for Mathematical Physics, we can cancel your application and admission for Physics. If you want us to to that, I need an answer until 3 pm today for us to do that in time, since today is the last day you can apply for Mathematical Physics.
Best regards,
Birte Schelling
