Payment of Semester contribution

Hi,
I received a notification about payment of semester fee in my STINE account. The question I have is whether I can pay the fees immediately or do I need to wait until I get my provisional semester documents?

"If you are a new student enrolling at Universität Hamburg, please pay the contribution as soon as you have received your preliminary semester documents" - This is what is mentioned on the website and I am skeptical as what needs to be done.

The semester contribution should be transferred after receiving the provisional semester documents. With these documents you will receive your student number. When transferring the semester contribution, the student number (Matrikelnummer) must be given so that the semester contribution can be assigned to you.

no, a confirmation email will not be sent. Instead you receive the final semester documents including the semester certificate in your account.

Just wanted to know if you're done with your payment and how did you proceed after getting the sample payment form? I tried to pay through online remittance services but couldn't find a way to include my enrollment number. Do I have to find a payment form?

Hey Sriya,
I did a SWIFT bank transfer. There you will have an option to add a REFERENCE/PURPOSE. Here you can add your matriculation number.
I guess this should help you.
