Master in Economics

Hi all,
I saw the duration for the Master course in Economics is 2 years (4 semesters) however "Students holding a four-year Bachelor degree can shorten the programme to one year upon approval of the programme director". What is the procedure to apply for this approval if I wish to study 1 year only? Thanks

Please note the following information on the website of the Master's program M.Sc. Economics:

Your master’s degree in two years, one year, or in part-time studies

As a general rule, the master’s degree in economics in the WISO faculty is designed to take four semesters, i.e., two years. However, there are also exceptions to the rule. If you have earned a four-year bachelor’s degree, you may be able to complete your master’s program in one year, if approved by the Program Director. Part-time studies are also a possibility.
