Hello,
I am Mariana Lage and I am currently enrolled as a Doctorate student. Last Thursday (23/09) I received an email saying that my semester documents could not be delivered and that I should reply to the email with my current address. I replied right away, and also checked my Stine account to see if everything was fine with my address. However, I received the same email yesterday (28/09), and I do not really know what is the problem, since everything is correct with my address (I checked multiple times to try to spot any inconsistency). I replied the email again, but now I am afraid something is wrong, and that the documents won't be here before Oct. 1st.
Do I need to stay home to receive them? How should I proceed?

You do not have to stay at home. Sometimes it just happens ...

I would highly appreciate if you reply, whether you have finally received the documents or not.
I have the same problem (viewtopic.php?f=49&t=17362), in my case the dates are similar as in this topic, so it seems to be not an individual failure in procedures at UHH.
Since previously the tickets arrived on time, couple of weeks before the start of new semester, the failure of the Deutsche Post can be excluded. Today, on 30th September, I have not received the documents yet.
Dear Campus-Center - BK, is it correct that tomorrow, on 1st of October, I have to buy a ticket to travel with HVV, despite having paid for the semester ticket long in advance?

I am still waiting for the documents (I live in Geesthacht), and this is my first semester at UHH.
I will check my PO box again later on today and I can update you if I have received them.
I believe it would be nice if the University could provide a provisional ticket, so that we don't have to pay for HVV from tomorrow on since we already payed the semester ticket in advance. But I don't really know how all this works.

I have received the documents on Friday afternoon, so I had to pay for the public transport only once.
May I ask you, did you transfer the semester contribution before 3 September, i.e. earlier than 4 weeks before the start of semester?
Anyways, it would be nice to have explanations from universty administration, if my delay was due to transfering the semester contribution too late, after 4 weeks deadline before the start of semester?
I hope the university administration leaves their comment in this thread.
