Respected sir/ma'am,

I'm planning to apply for this upcoming winter semester and I wish to apply for two subjects.
- Is it true that it's not allowed to apply for more than one degree in Hamburg University?
I'm applying for MA in Manuscript cultures and MA in British American Cultures.

- I'd also like to know if I can apply for a dual degree at first and then later change it to just one.

Dear Krishna,

your information is correct. You can apply for a maximum of one Master's programme for the winter semester 2022/23.

I am not sure what you are aiming at with your second question. By dual studies, I mean that you do an apprenticeship with a company and study at the same time. Study programmes at Universität Hamburg are not designed for this. Or do you need information on Doppelstudium? You can find it here: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/campuscenter ... udium.html

However, this option does not allow you to apply for two degree programmes and then only study one.
