I wanted to inquire that if a MIBAS student's visa is rejected, will they receive a refund for the semester contribution that they have paid to the university?

it depends. If the person is unable to study due to the non-issuance of a visa and the person has already paid the full semester contribution, the full contribution will be refunded to that person. If the person can nevertheless take up their studies, after consultation with the department, e.g. by taking part in online lectures, no refund will be made because the person is then enrolled. In this case, the person should perhaps think about applying to the Studierendenwerk for reimbursement of the costs for the semester ticket: https://www.stwhh.de/studienfinanzierun ... erstattung. The application can be submitted until September 30. If the application is granted and the person then comes to Germany during the winter semester, there is no longer any possibility of obtaining the semester ticket.
