Bearbeitet conditionally acception

Beitrag von zeynepkiciman »

Hello,

Currently I am a senior student at Bilkent University in Turkey. I am studying psychology and I am interested in doing my masters in your university. I know the language of the program is German. I want to ask you if you provide conditionally acception which I mean if I do not know German now, I can study German for a year as a prep school before starting the master as conditionally accepted, if you provide the German course yourself and how can I find a more detailed information about the application process for conditionally acception?
Best regards,
Zeynep Kıcıman

Dear Zeynep Kıcıman,

"I want to ask you if you provide conditionally acception "

a) No. Universität Hamburg does not offer any form of conditional admission with regard to German language skills. If a degree program requires German language proficiency because it is taught entirely or partially in German, this must be proven before an applicant can be enrolled.

A list of all accepted German language certificates and further information can be found on our website: www.uni-hamburg.de/german-language.

b) Universität Hamburg does not offer any preparatory German courses. If you are planning to come to Germany in order to learn German, you can find information about that on the website of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service): https://www.daad.de/en/study-and-resear ... -language/. The DAAD also provides a database of German courses offered throughout Germany: https://www.daad.de/deutschland/studien ... rkurse/en/. Information on courses offered in Hamburg can be found via the following course portal: http://hamburg.kursportal.info.

If you are planning to acquire the necessary German language skills in your home country or in other countries, you can find information about that on the Goethe-Institute's website: https://www.goethe.de/en/spr/kup/kur/wwt.html.

Best wishes
Thomas Walter
