Hello,

My name is Saif Zafar Khan, and I am interested in the Master of Innovation, Business, and Sustainability program. BW-1728125 is my application number. I applied for recognition, but they told me that it was not possible because the APS certificate was missing.

I currently study at the University of Freiburg in Germany and want to change university. That is why I applied for MIBAS, and I believe APS is required for the visa process at the Indian embassy. I don't believe I'm required to provide that because I'm already in Germany and my bachelor's degree was recognized when I started my course at my university in Freiburg.

Could you please assist me with this and consider my application as I do not believe an APS certificate is required in my case? I would be grateful.

Dear Saif Zafar Khan,

All applicants with a first university degree from outside of Germany need to have their foreign education certificates recognized in order to apply to MIBAS at Universität Hamburg. The deadline for recognition at Uni Hamburg is March 15.

In case you already have your foreign bachelor's degree recognized by p.e. uni-assist.e.V. or by other recognition offices in Germany a new recognition procedure (please see at https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... ldung.html) is not necessary.
