Bearbeitet international student / Psychology
Greetings from California!
I m interested in obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in your university. Currently I am finishing my last year of Psychology Associate Degree for transfer. Questions: I will be taking German 1A and 1B . I was told that many of the programs are taught in English. Is this correct? Should I do the German studienkolleg program before?
Also, I d like to know who should I contact to get informed about the prerequisites needed for the program. I know most universities in Germany offer their undergraduate programs in German, but maybe I may be able to pass out of some selected classes?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Re: international student / Psychology
Dear hangiff,

All bachelor's programs at Uni Hamburg are taught in German language. Some of them have the additional requirement of good English language proficiency, too.

In case you are on level A1 or B1 right now, you do not yet fullfill this requirement.
Further detail can be found at https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... nisse.html

If you have to visit the Studienkolleg before studying at Uni Hamburg depends on the University Entrance Qualification you obtained. Did you already check this via Anabin Datenbank https://anabin.kmk.org/no_cache/filter/ ... d_gewaehlt or DAAD database https://www.daad.de/en/study-and-resear ... -database/.

Detailed information about application for international prospective students at Uni Hamburg can be found at https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... hluss.html
