Inquiry about the german language skills for the medical program

I am aware that the 6-year medicial program requires an advanced level of german language, however, I will not be able to satisfy this requirement fully by the time of application, so is there a foundation year aimed at improving my language skills that I can join before the program? Is it done in the university of hamburg itself or in another place?

You can prepare for language exams even before your arrival in Hamburg. Many TestDaF centers worldwide offer a variety of preparatory courses, for example, the Goethe-Institut.

In case you already have a good knowledge of German language, you could visit the pre-semester preparatory course at Studienkolleg Hamburg. However, this offer is not a German language course.
