Masters in english litrature
Hallo! If a student has a degree in English literature and wants to complete a master’s degree, what specializations can he apply for (available to him) ? . And i heard about english -taught Master's in media and communication studies , is it available ?

1) It is important to understand that the individual departments, institutes and faculties of Universität Hamburg or other institutions are responsible for the admission requirements, selection criteria and application procedure for their master's programs. Therefore, admission requirements, selection criteria, necessary application documents and practical steps in the application process differ, depending on what specific master's program you want to apply for.

2) TThe language of instruction for each master's degree program is indicated in the overview of all our degree programs: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... hluss=opt2.
All program labeled "GER/ENG" or "GER" are eihter partially or entirely taught in German. Thus, for these degree programs our general requirement in regard to German language skill apply: www.uni-hamburg.de/german-language.
Degree program labeled "ENG" are taught exclusively in English and therefore require no German language skills.
3) The master's degree programs offered by the departments "Languages, Literature and Media I + II" can be found here: https://www.slm.uni-hamburg.de/studium/ ... aenge.html.
All of these master's degree program require German language skills (see 2).

No. Universität Hamburg does not offer any degree program in "media and communication studies" taught exclusively in English (see https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... hluss=opt2).
