Language requirement

I'm applying for a German taught masters program in this University. I have a B1 level German language certificate. Is there a possibility to get a conditional letter for the program ? Can I apply to the masters program with the B1 level proficiency ?

A prerequisite for the study of a degree program taught in German at Universität Hamburg is that you are proficient in German at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
It is therefore necessary to submit proof of sufficient German language skills with the application for enrollment within the enrollment deadline. The first step for you is therefore to improve your German skills, since an application can only be successful if your German proficiency level is at least C1.
