Hello dear team,

I applied for 'Master of Science / Data Science and Artificial Intelligence'.

It's sad as more applications were received than places were available, I got a rejection letter. It's said 'If there is a succession procedure for your desired degree program, 3 applications would be considered before yours. ' in the letter.

I really love this programme and our Humberg. I have been working for 8 years, which means I can complete my course and I don't want to wait for another year. This is the only one that I chose.

So is there any way I can get admission? For example, take courses in advance in UHH? It's been a while since I got the letter. I am in a mess and don't know what to do. Any advice can be very useful for me.

ich habe das gleiche Problem bezüglich Master Wirtschaftsinformatik. In meinem Ablehnungsschreiben steht, dass noch 4 andere Bewerber vor mir sind.

Ich hätte gerne wissen, ob das Nachrückverfahren für den Master bereits begonnen hat und ob Master Wirtschaftsinformatik verfügbar sein wird? Habe ich vielleicht noch eine Chance? Denn ich warte immer noch und das ist wirklich meine Traumuni und mein Wunschfach. Für jede hilfreiche Antwort bin ich weiterhin dankbar.

We did a first succession procedure for some study programs, not for all of them. But if you did not receive a notification that you were admitted in the succession procedure yet, chances are not that good. I am sorry but we cannot give you detailed information regarding succession procedures in specific programs - you will just have to wait. If you are not notified by October 7, there will be no more places available.
