I am writing to seek guidance regarding the Master’s program in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (winter intake 2025) at Hamburg University. Specifically, I would like to clarify the following points:

1. Based on my academic and professional background, am I eligible to apply for this Master’s program?

2. Additional Requirements: Are there any specific prerequisites or qualifications I need to fulfill before applying?

3. Preparatory Courses: I understand that my background may require additional preparation in mathematics and programming. Does Hamburg University offer preparatory or bridging courses to help applicants meet these requirements?

Below is a brief overview of my background:

Academic: I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Dalian University (China).

Professional: I have been working in the shipping industry since 2007 and have been with Hapag-Lloyd since 2015, where I currently work in sales. My primary responsibilities include data analysis for global tender strategies and negotiations.

Interest: I am deeply interested in pursuing a career in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and would like to further develop my skills in this field.

The program does not offer any preparatory or bridging courses to meet the requirements.
