I’m reaching out because I ran into a problem while trying to submit my application for the MIBA program. While uploading my final documents, my home Wi-Fi suddenly went out. I couldn’t access the application website for a while, and by the time the connection came back, there was very little time left to finish the upload. Unfortunately, I missed the 23:59 deadline and couldn’t submit all of my documents.

On top of that, there are some internet restrictions in Turkey right now due to political issues, which may have contributed to the connectivity problem. If necessary, I can contact my internet provider and get confirmation about the disruption in service at that time.

I’m really, really passionate about this program and would love to be considered for admission. Is there any way I could still submit my remaining documents and be considered for the program? I’d be so grateful for any help or flexibility on this as I was just unfortunately behind the deadline by minutes which makes the situation all more unfotunate for me.

I am really sorry, but at University of Hamburg, it is not possible to submit applications after the application deadlines have passed, as the deadlines are limitation periods.

As a general rule, no exceptions can be made, and there are no provisions for hardship cases or similar.

So, unfortunately, I can only recommend, that you apply again next year and try to finish your application well before the deadline, so you can schedule in possible technical issues.
