Deadline to enroll as a freemover student

Greetings. I will be doing my thesis at the University of Hamburg from mid-November 2025 to April 2026, and I think I should enroll as a freemover student for visa purposes. I would like to know if there is any deadline to enroll myself. Thank you.

Hello Shiny,
You can submit the enrollment application by the beginning of the semester in question (1 October for winter semester) via STiNE application portal. However, it is advisable to enroll earlier so that you receive the semester documents or access to the semester ticket in good time.
