Greetings!

I am Munala Yousuf with enrollment number 7964769.
I am a new international student beginning my Master in Data Science and AI in Winter Semester 25/26.

I transferred an amount of 384 Euros for semester contribution from my bank on 7th August 2025 (proof attached) and my bank confirmed today that 339 euros were received at UHH's bank on 8th August 2025. Charges were deducted by the intermediary bodies and 0.01 Euro was deducted by my bank from the transferred amount and I was not informed of any such deductions earlier.
I need my enrollment letter in order to apply for a German study visa which is being delayed due this.

Is it possible that I can pay the outstanding amount as soon as I arrive in Hamburg as there are quite some charges being deducted on every transaction.

I will highly appreciate your support in this matter.

Hello Munala Yousuf,

The semester contribution has not been received yet. Missing amounts can be transferred to the same bank data stating the students number. As long as the full amount has not been received, unfortunately the semester certicate cannot be issued.

Thank you for your reply.

I request you to kindly confirm me the amount that has been received at UHH's bank and the outstanding amount that I need to pay so that I can immediately proceed with the payment.

I would also like to request you to send me a link (to the payment portal) from where I can pay the outstanding amount directly to the university. I fear that the intermediary bodies will deduct charges again in bank transfer (the amount of these transfer charges is not being clearly told to us by the bank) and the amount will not be received in full.

I will highly appreciate your swift response which will help me to provide the embassy with the enrollment letter for my visa application to avoid further delays.

Everything is fine now. The entire semester contribution has been received and the semester certificate can be found in your student account.
