Hello,

I plan to study at 'Lehramt der Primar- und Sekundarstufe I' at Universität Hamburg as a freemover student next Summer Semester and Winter Semester (26). I have diligently searched your university website for information on freemover students, but I still have some unresolved questions and would be grateful for some assistance. I would like to know what are the application dates (start and end) for visiting students? Also, are there any accommodation systems for freemover students?

If you have read our website regarding "Free Mover" https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... mover.html you know, that almost all steps are organized with the responsible faculty, in your case the Faculty of Education (see https://www.ew.uni-hamburg.de/en/intern ... mover.html).

Once you have organized everything with the faculty, been accepted by them and received the necessary paperwork from them, you will need to submit an enrollment application for free mover via STiNE.

It is advisable to submit the enrollment application for free mover before the winter semester begins on October 1, 2025.

The University of Hamburg is not involved with the topic of "accommodation". There is a separate institution in the city of Hamburg that is responsible for this matter for all students at all universities in the city, the "Studierendenwerk Hamburg".
