I am writing to inquire about the application process for the Winter Semester 2026 for the relevant Master’s programs offered at your esteemed university.
I hold a Bachelor of Science (BS) in English, with a strong academic background in English Literature and Linguistics, and I have achieved a CGPA of 3.83. My academic interests closely align with the course structure offered at your university, which is why I am particularly motivated to apply.
In addition to my academic studies, I have been actively involved in extensive co-curricular and extracurricular activities. I am the founder of Street Academy, a social initiative focused on education, rehabilitation, and long-term support for underprivileged and street children. I have worked closely with various NGOs and organizations, including Alkhidmat and Leos of Pakistan, and have played an active role in organizing community projects, awareness campaigns, Ramadan drives, and blood donation camps. Through these experiences, I have developed strong skills in leadership, project management, communication, and community engagement, which have greatly shaped my academic and professional goals.
Currently, the deadline for the Summer Semester 2026 is approaching (15 January). However, as an applicant from Pakistan, the German student visa process through the German Embassy often requires a significant amount of time due to appointment availability and processing delays. Because of this, applying for the summer intake may pose a risk of not receiving the visa in time, which could prevent me from joining the program as scheduled.
To ensure that I can secure my visa on time and begin my studies without delay, I am therefore highly interested in applying for the Winter Semester 2026.
I would kindly appreciate your guidance on the following:
- Should I apply now for the Winter Semester 2026, or wait until applications officially open?
- What would you recommend for international applicants from Pakistan in this situation?
- Are there any preparatory steps or documents you advise me to complete in advance?
