Entry requirement

I am from Sri Lanka. I am very interested in pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at your esteemed university.

I am currently preparing for my Edexcel International A-Level (IAL) examinations. As a UK qualification, I understand from Anabin that Edexcel A-Levels are generally sufficient for direct entry to German universities. I also understand that, in some cases, proof of IGCSE-level qualifications may be requested.

However, I did not follow the Edexcel curriculum during my secondary education; I completed Sri Lankan O-Levels, which are broadly similar in content to IGCSEs. I would like to confirm whether my O-Level qualifications are needed at all, or whether my upcoming Edexcel IAL alone is sufficient for direct entry.

I have consulted Anabin and DAAD resources, but my specific situation is not clarified. I also contacted DAAD Sri Lanka, and they advised me to refer directly to the university for a definitive answer. Since there is no other source for confirmation, I kindly urge you to review my case and provide a clear, official response regarding my eligibility.
