Hello,

I would like to confirm whether it is mandatory to have English General Paper (A Level), or if I can apply with the following qualifications:

Three A Levels: Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics

One O Level: English Language (an A) or Physics ( a C)

Additionally, I would like to ask:

Is English General Paper required, or is O Level English Language sufficient?

If I carry forward my previous English General Paper result from last year, will it still be accepted? (I got a C)

In short, do I also need to submit proof of English proficiency, or is the German certificate sufficient?

I am planning to resit my A Levels this October, so this information will help me decide whether I need to retake English General Paper.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could respond before 25 April, as I need to finalize my exam registration by then.

Hello Bhavya,

When enrolling at our University, all international prospective students must submit proof of adequate German proficiency (Level C 1) with the enrollment documents when applying for a German taught program. English language certificate is not required for Medicine program.
