Hello,

I am planning to write my thesis from my home country. Do I need to take any extra steps to keep myself registered as a student other than paying the semester contribution in a timely manner? (e.g., Contact somewhere, or need to keep German insurance)
Also, I would like to know if there is anything that I should bear in mind before making a decision to go home for thesis.

to keep your enrollment status activ, you need to consider two things:

1. Pay the semester contribution
2. A valid notification about your insurance status.
