Visa Delay and Admission Options for Summer Semester 2027

I have been admitted to the Master's program in Mathematical Physics for the Winter Semester 2026/27. Unfortunately, due to visa delays in my home country, I will not be able to arrive in time to begin my studies.

I understand that it is not possible to defer my admission to the Summer Semester 2027. Therefore, I would like to ask if there are any alternatives available in my situation.

If I submit a new application for the Summer Semester 2027, would it be possible to receive an admission decision earlier than the regular processing timeline? Since I have already been admitted once, an early admission letter would allow me to start my visa application well in advance and improve my chances of arriving on time for the summer semester.

I would be very grateful if you could advise me on the best course of action or let me know if there are any options available in this situation.

No, unfortunately, that's not possible. A new application would be treated like any other application.

The only way is to enroll and arrange a late arrival with your faculty and wait until you are able to move to Germany. Unfortunately, this means that you would have to pay the contribution for each semesters until your actual arrival (minus the cost for the semester ticket, that could be refunded).
