Hello,
I have studied in College and University in the U.S. to earn my associate’s degree as part of my Hochschulzugangsberechtigung. I do not have a bachelor's degree.
Should I include information about the College/Univeristy in the section on my online application "Bisheriges Studium"?
Thank you very much,
Elisa Steele
Dear Elisa,
If I understand you correctly, your degree is an additional school program that allows you to gain higher education entrance qualification. You do not have to enter this "studies" in the section "bisherige Studien" in the online application.
Best regards,
BK

Hello,
Thank you for your response.
An associate's degree is a 2-year degree that one can get after high school and before an associate's degree. They are University level classes at College and count as classes towards a bachelor as well. It is basically the first two years of the US 4-year bachelor degree.
I am using this for my University Entrance requirements for Germany, as a US high school diploma by itself is not enough.
I hope that is clear, let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
Elisa
