Hello,
I am Gihwan Kim who is going to start master degree in "Molecular Plant Science". I have a problem. When I enrolled University with documents I've written my new address there, however I have confirmed at "Service center" my address is not changed.
So my semester ticket with STINE account is arrived at my formal address. The point is a family who live that address is on vacation in Spain for 2months. That is why I could not get my papers for semester.

Can I recieve my Semester ticket here in Hamburg? Please...it is important for my student Visa!

Dear Mr Kim,

You don't need the semester ticket for the visa process. What you will need though is your admission letter and your enrollment certificate. That certificate is provided for you to download via STiNE when you have paid the semester contribution. So what you need is the access data for your STiNE account. Those will have been sent to the address in STiNE as well. But you can get those data if you visit the RRZ-ServiceDesk support team at the Regional Computing Center (RRZ). You will be provided with your access details upon presentation of a valid ID. In your STiNE account you will find your student ID number (which you need to transfer the semester contribution correctly) and details on how to pay the semester contribution.

The semester ticket won't be valid before October 1st, so there is no need to worry about that now. If you already know that you need to use the public transportation system after October 1st and if the family you were living with won't be back by then, please visit Campus-Center to get a new ticket for a fee.
