Hello,

I am currently a high school student in the United States of America. As I attend a middle college high school, I also take classes at our community college. I am on set to graduate high school with 86 credits/units total, and I am taking 8-11 AP tests. Would any credits/units be transferred if I enroll? If so, how many? I do plan on applying to your medical program if that matters

I am sorry for the late answer - we had technical problems concerning the forum which preventd us from answering earlier.

Unfortunately, we cannot answer your question to full extent, since in the case of medical study programs in Germany, universities cannot decide about the possibility of tranferring credits. The reason for this is that the regulations governing medical programs are state regulations and not university regulations. Thus you would have to consult a "Landeprüfungsamt für Heilberufe" to get an answer - universities cannot answer your question. Reading the description you give of your previous educational qualifications though, I am not sure whether a Landesprüfungsamt will be able to answer your question without seeing any official documents describing your previous studies. So the best way for you to get an answer would be to contact a Landeprüfngsamt and see whether they can give you an answer. Sending proof of what you did in your previous studies would increase the chance of a helpful answer. A further note: Since the medical program offered by Universität Hamburg is taught in German, you need to provide proof of German language proficiency to be admitted. Detailed information about the level of German language proficiency required and about the certificates accepted by Universität Hamburg is provided here: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... se.html If you do not have any German langage skills yet, the first step to studying in the medial program of Universität Hamburg would therefore be to learn German.
