Matriculation number

Hello! I have a quick question. Is the Matrikelnummer the same number as the application number which appears in the enrollment application formulary? (I know that this might be a silly question, but I want to make sure in order to make the deposit of the matriculation fee correctly)

Dear Luis4to,
no, the application number is not your matriculation number.
If you have currently an postal address outside of Germany, you'll get the access dates for your new student's account via email. This email will also include your matriculation number.
