Changing to the Alternative study program from the main program due to language proficiency requirement insufficiency

I have been admitted to Master's in Bioinformatics course in University of Hamburg for winter semester 2017. However, unfortunately, I was just recently apprised that my German language proficiency does not satisfy the requirement for the course. I am interested in pursuing higher education from University of Hamburg specializing in Biology. hence, I would like to apply now to my alternate study preference in the application i.e."Masters of biology" which is taught in English.

Will it be possible to Apply to my alternate study course i.e "Masters in biology" (taught in English) via the same application for winter intake 2017.

My documents are already submitted at the University (both soft copies and hard copies) and my Visa and flight tickets are all in place.

It'll be really great if someone can guide me and help me resolve this. Looking forward to hear from you soon.

The only master program in the field of biology taught in English ist the master program Molecular Plant Science: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... 1141990475

It is not possible to transfer your application for a given program to another program after the end of the application period. So you will have to apply for the winter 2018 intake of that program, if the program is an alternative for you. The application period for that program runs from February 15th to March 31st.
