Hello.
I'm a student from Japan and I`d like to study in the University of Hamburg as a free-mover. But in order to process, I have to find a supervisor from the university staff. Can somebody explain me or give me information how to get a supervisor from germanistics and german literature? Thank you in advance.
Dear Asuka T.,
There are two ways to find a supervisor:
1. You take a look at the web site of the institute at which you wish to study and contact a professor directly whose fields of research match your interests. The web site of the Institute for German Language and Literature can be found here: https://www.slm.uni-hamburg.de/germanis ... onen.html Email is the best way of contacting professors.
2.You contact the academic or international office of the faculty and ask for assistance in finding a supervisor. For the faculty of humanities you can use this email address: erasmus.geisteswiss@uni-hamburg.de
Best regards,
