submission of proof of health insurance

Dear all,

I was wondering if I could send in a scan of the proof of temporary german health insurance though the contact form for the campus forum so that I can get my proof of enrolment so that I can apply for permanent health insurance. Or would I have to come there and give it in in-person?

Dear Mr. Sanjay,

You can try that, but normally a limited health insurance will not be sufficient for enrollment.
You can get the permament German health insurance by showing your letter of acceptance. You can't be enrolled unconditionally without a valid health insurance. After you've got enrolled unconditionally, you send the certification of enrollment to you health insurance.

It will be okay to send the scan of your proof via e-mail or by post. It is not necessary to come in person to Campus Center.
