Bachelor's degree in geography.

I am Daibata Roy from Kolkata, India. I want to study geography in Hamburg University after completion of my higher secondary education in my country. I have learnt that I need to undertake a preparatory course. Please let me know the details regarding the course and how to apply for it. Also if I take the course, will I be enrolled in the university?

Did you check if you have to do Studienkolleg first at https://www.uni-assist.de/en/tools/chec ... admission/ or http://anabin.kmk.org/no_cache/filter/s ... d_gewaehlt?

The application period for Studienkolleg is different than application period at universities. You can find information about how to apply at Studienkolleg at http://studienkolleg-hamburg.de/bewerbung/
For enrollment at Studienkolleg you'll have to have German language skills on level B2.

If I study at Studienkolleg will I be admitted in the university by default?

After you've got admitted by the Studienkolleg Hamburg in their own application procedure, you are allowed to enroll at Universität Hamburg during your studies at Studienkolleg Hamburg.
