Application to MIBAS for second time

Dear all,

I would like to ask some recommendations and advices regarding the application to MIBAS, since this is going to be the second time I am going to apply to this program and I would love to be accepted this time.

Last year I was rejected since there were so many applicants and of course not enough vacancies. In order to improve my application I would like to have your comments about the following issues:

1) I got 3,0 as VPD (higher entrance qualification) when my chilean grades were converted to german grading system. Having this grade, do you think I could have any change to get accepted? Do you have any idea about what the minimum grade should be to have chances?

2) Are there general recommendations and tips to consider in order to improve the motivation letter? What should I focus on particularly?

for the selection procedure your grade achieved in first degree will be weighted with 60% and the written justification for chosen program will be weighted with 40%.
As the selection criteria consider more than the GPA of the bachelor's degree, there is no GPA we could tell you.

As it is about your own motivation, there are no guidelines or any further information. The selection panel wants to decide on your personal text if you will fit in this program.
