Supervision confirmation

Dear sir or madam,

I am enrolling to the University to the PhD at UKE and I am completing documents for the enrollment.
I would like to ask about the "written confirmation from your doctoral supervisor at Universität Hamburg"

For my faculty there is a note: In the event of a doctorate in the PhD programs of the medical faculty, a confirmation of your admission to the doctoral procedure issued by the doctoral office is required.
So, this confirmation from the doctoral office is the confirmation of my supervisor? Or do you need also a separate confimation directly from my supervisor?
I am not sure about this.

Dear Sofie,

You do not need an extra confirmation of your supervisor for your enrollment at Uni Hamburg.

Students of doctoral studies at the Faculty of Medicine in the area of medicine or dentistry require a confirmation of registration for doctoral studies from the faculty (Anzeige).
