Hello, I am Erva and I applied for economics master degree in your instution and I got waitlisted. In order to have better future vision, I was wondering is it possible to learn until which rank did you accepted students from waiting list least year (for economics program) and today was the last day of the enrolment so how many people did enrolled untill now?
Thank you so much
Dear Erva,
Unfortunately, we do not have any data on the number of applicants who have been admitted to this degree program in previous succession procedures. Nor do we publish any information on the number of admissions accepted for ongoing admissions procedures.
There are two useful pieces of information about the admission procedure for the M.Sc. Economics that are available at this point in time.
One is the number of places available in this program, which is 35 (see page 3 -https://www.uni-hamburg.de/campuscenter ... zhz-62.pdf). The other information is the number of applications that would be considered in case of a succession procedure before your application. You will find this second information in your Letter of Rejection on page 2.
Using these two figures, you can make a rough estimate of the probability that your application will be considered in a possible succession procedure.
Best wishes,
Thomas Walter
