Bearbeitet Doubt in Physics Masters Application
Hi,

I am an international student, having done my high school (12th standard) in India and currently pursuing my bachelor's in physics from India.

I am having few doubts related to filling out the application form or physics master's program.

Under the section:
1) Information on higher education entrance eligibility

1) For "Type of higher education entrance eligibility," I am having confusion between two options

(i) Abroad - Subject-specific higher education entrance qualification
(ii) Abroad - higher education entrance qualification from abroad

2) For "Grade in the higher education entrance eligibility."

In my high school, I was awarded grades in a percentage system, so what should I write in such a case?
For example, I was awarded 95% out of 100; should I put 95?

2) Information on your studies to date

1) For "Studies to (date)"

I am currently in my final semester, and it would be over by 1st May 2021, so what should I enter? There is also a note for this option "If you are currently enrolled, please enter the current semester in the bis Semester (Up to semester) field."
Can you please let me know what does this note means?

I kindly request you to please help me. Looking forward to your reply.

Regards,
Abhinav
Re: Doubt in Physics Masters Application
Dear Abhinav,

Don't worry too much about those entries - the information is used for statistical purposes only when you apply for a master program.

1)1) Please choose "Abroad - higher education entrance qualification from abroad". To be 100% sure that this is the right choice I would have to look at your school leaving certificate, but since, as I said, the data is used for statistics only, this is not necessary.
1)2) If you do not have a grade in the German grading system, please just indicate 9,9.

2) If you will be enrolled in your final semester until May, please indicate "summer semester 2021" as the last semester of enrollment.
