Hello there,
I am interested in the Graduate program offered in the Physics.
While filling out the stine account, I came across certain issues. I have tried contacting the email address provided under the "online application technical support". But the attempts went futile.
I received this system generated email.

Dear Ujwal,
at this point you don´t need to fill this box, because you acquired your University entrance qualification outside Germany. Select "Choose".

Hello there,
But I would like to bring it to your attention that I am not able to get an "OK" status for the "information on university entrance qualification".
The "university entrance qualification circle" has got a * mark beside which makes it one of those required fields to be chosen. Because of this reason, I am stuck at this page without being able to make any progress in my application.
Regards,
Ujwal

Dear Ujwal,
Since the box you are referring to is called "District of higher education entrance eligibility" (and not "University entrance qualification circle" as stated above), I assume that you use the automatic translation function of web pages in your browser.
The first step is to disable the automatic translation function. This causes a wide range of issues including the inaccurate translation and technical irregularities with the application. Afterwards, switch into English (click on "Deutsch" in the top right-hand corner) and continue in this language.
As suggested in the note on the right-hand side, the applicants that obtained their higher education entrance eligibility outside Germany, don´t need to fill the box "District of higher education entrance eligibility".
In the box "Grade in the higher education entrance eligibility" type in the grade "9,9" (the "dots" are not accepted by the system; the numbers must be comma-separated).
Following this, you should be able to submit your online application.
Kind regard,
Oksana Maryskevych

Hello there,
To demonstrate my English skills, I could use my University degree in the English language study programme. I have also successfully attained university entrance qualification for English speaking universities.
What document should I submit for this purpose as a proof?
regards,
Ujwal

Dear Ujwal,
you can choose. We accept either a university degree in an English language study program or a university entrance qualification for English speaking universities as proof.
(See 'Application information for Physics (M.Sc.)': https://www.uni-hamburg.de/onTEAM/studi ... hysics.pdf)

Dear Ujwal,
Considering that you got this message earlier when sending an email to the technical support regarding applications as well, there seems to be a problem with your email-address or your mailserver. I am sorry, but we cannot assist you with that.
Chances are that because of the mail problem, your application documents did not reach the department of physics within the application deadline and that your application will therefore noct be considered. I am sorry. Please try to contact the department and ask them whether they received your documents in time. Since the mail address you used ist the right one for contacting the department I recommend that you try mailing them using a different mail account than the one you used the first time. Alternatively, you can try mailing to the alternative address indicated on this page under "Kontakt": https://www.physik.uni-hamburg.de/studi ... buero.html But since the problem seems to be on your side, I am not sure whether an email to that address will get through.
Best regards,
Birte Schelling
