Bearbeitet English Classes
Hello there!

My name is Nate Day, I live in Hamburg and I am from the USA.

I'm interested in potentially studying for a graduate degree (Masters) in the future, but am still seeking to get my visa process taken care of.
I finished a Bachelor's degree in the USA in Behavioral Science (Communication major/Psychology minor) from Hardin-Simmons University.
I am proficient in English and am interested to see if you might need an English speaker for any classes. Whether that be formal classes or additional English courses. I'm just looking to help out any way that I can and use whatever skills I can to help others communicate well.
Any information would be helpful!

Thanks!
Re: English Classes
Dear Mr. Day,

I hope I understand you correctly in assuming that you are not looking for a job at Universität Hamburg, but are just offering to help. Should you be looking for a job, you should take a look at the overview of job opportunities at Universität Hamburg: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/uhh/stellenangebote.html

In case you are just offering to help without any formal contract, this won't be easy, since as a public sector institution, Universität Hamburg can't just accept help with classes etc. from anyone not employed at the institution or commissioned by the institution.

However, there is one possibility: Maybe there are student initiatives which could use some help from a native speaker and would be glad to accept your offer. In order to find out whether there are such initiatives, you can contact the student councils at Universität Hamburg. You can find contact details via this web page: https://www.uni-hamburg.de/en/campuscen ... aften.html
